Business Development – Provisional Visas
These temporary visas are for business people to establish a business in Australia, manage a new or existing business, or invest in Australia. Except the Subclass 405 – Investor Retirement visa, all of these business visas offer a pathway to permanent residence in Australia.

For people who have a genuine and realistic commitment to participate in the management of a new or existing business in Australia. Applicants must be senior executive employees of a major overseas business. and be able to show proof of significant net assets as well as. - State/Territory Sponsored Senior Executive (Provisional) (Subclass 164)
For people who have a genuine and realistic commitment to participate in the management of a new or existing business in Australia. Applicants must be senior executive employees of a major overseas business sponsored by a state or territory of Australia and be able to show proof of significant net assets.
Business Development – Permanent Visas
These permanent visas are for people who have established the required level of business in Australia while holding a provisional visa. High-calibre business people are also eligible for a direct permanent residence visa.
- Business Talent (Migrant) (Subclass 132)
For people who have a genuine and realistic commitment to participate in the management of a new or existing business in Australia. Applicants must be high calibre business people sponsored by a state or territory of Australia, who are owners or part owners of an overseas business.
